Position Overview/Summary:
As Director, Marketing & Ecommerce you will conduct broad range of customer engagement & digital outreach activities on behalf of our business(es). You are expected lead the marketing and eCommerce strategy ensuring the support of sales staff and client satisfaction are always top priorities.
Responsibilities & Essential Job Functions:
Your primary responsibilities include but are not limited to as business needs will dictate additional tasks as requested by management, the following functions.
- Manage comprehensively for BPL Source all aspects of their e-commerce business including strategic planning and presenting of ideas to management, content development, implementation of approved initiatives and objectively tracking analytics to verify the presence and benefit generated from established web-based technologies and outreaches.
- Oversee and facilitate technical design of company website(s) including loading of all products and brand partners as well as creating online ordering capabilities for clients to ensure a positive and easy customer experience.
- Manage, comprehensively, the user experience with company website(s) including site navigation, ordering capabilities with visibility to client specific annual price quotes and promotional campaigns.
- Create and maintain up to date company LinkedIn profile(s) & website section(s) such as a blog with white papers & technical info or periodic “sales” for client engagement.
- Set up Google Ads and SEO initiatives to rank our website on search engines as well as conduct reports and analytics.
- Write and publish white papers, newsletters and blogs regarding Biotech and Pharmaceutical regulations /updates within cleanrooms and controlled environments.
- Create marketing brochures, banners or other materials as needed for events, visits, and outreaches.
- Generate and implement new sales or marketing initiatives to increase ecommerce profitability and support all sales staff initiatives as needed and directed by management.
- Manage the integration between our ERP System and the website.Set up new customer accounts with their special pricing as well as connect their accounts to our ERP System.
- Update constantly our BPL Source website with product certificates, technical specification sheets and all technical info required for customer to make a buying decision.
Education, Professional Experience & Skillset:
- Bachelor’s degree (Required).
- Prior experience in the Biotech/Pharmaceutical/Cleanroom, Industry of 3 years minimum (Required).
- Prior experience in eCommerce and Marketing of 3 years minimum (required)
- Fluent in English (read, write, speak) (Required).
- Prior experience in B2B
- Experience managing the following technologies: Microsoft Business central, WooCommerce, Hubspot, Power Automate.
- Writing Skills for technical blogs and white papers (Required).
